YOUR QUESTIONS

As a team, you are locked in a cinema-like set. You have 60 minutes (not a second more, maybe less) to complete your mission and escape. To do so: solve puzzles, manipulate objects and mechanisms, find possible secret passages. A Game Master follows you via microphone/camera and gives clues if needed. No specific knowledge is required, just imagination, a little logic... and a good team spirit!

At Rashomon Escape, we offer several unique missions, each with its own universe, atmosphere and storyline. Whether you're a mystery lover, an adventure seeker, an action enthusiast or a thrill-seeker, you'll find an experience tailored to your tastes.

All our missions are designed with an intermediate level of difficulty, accessible to both beginners and experienced players. The key is to communicate well as a team and don't hesitate to ask your Game Master for clues!

Rashomon Escape welcomes teams of 2 to 6 players per game, depending on the room. Please note: Le Crime room has a limit of 5 players. Beyond 6 players, the game is no longer optimal and we recommend booking several rooms simultaneously.

Yes, under certain conditions. Rashomon Escape accepts children from 9 years old for three missions: Le Musée, Le Braquage and Le Pharaon (the horror rooms L'Ascenseur - La Morgue - Le Virus are not recommended for under 16s, and Le Crime is recommended from 14 years old).

Groups of children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult, considered as a player and counted in the room's capacity. Example: 5 children + 1 adult = 6 players.

Rashomon Animator Option: Would you like a group of 6 children without an adult? We offer an animator option (+30€) where a member of our team plays with them and supervises them. This option is available in your basket before validation.

All our missions are available in French. To better welcome our international visitors, some of our games are also available in English.

Bookings are made directly online on our website. Payment is made by credit card via a secure platform. Rashomon Escape reserves the right to accept, refuse or charge for any modification request.

The price of a game depends on the number of participants. Please refer to the price table on the booking page for more information.

We have two locations, within 5 minutes' walk of each other: 26 rue Bréguet and 2 Passage du Chemin Vert. To find out the exact address of the location where you need to go, simply check your mission confirmation email.

Yes! All our games can be played with 2 players and have specific rates for duos.

It depends on the room's maximum capacity. If your booking isn't full (e.g. you booked for 4 in a room for 6), it's usually possible to add a player on site, subject to availability. Payment will be made directly on site. We advise you to let us know in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Nothing is nominative: if a friend can't come, you can ask someone else to replace them. However, no refund will be possible in case of absence, in accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code (direct leisure activities).

Yes! Rashomon Escape sells gift vouchers of different values, perfect for original gifts. The recipient can enter the voucher code when making their booking. The voucher is valid for 1 year.

In accordance with article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, and since Rashomon Escape is a live event, no modification or cancellation is possible after confirmation.

We therefore invite you to carefully check the number of participants, the date and the time before validating your booking. In case of force majeure, contact us, we will study situations on a case-by-case basis.

We accept bank transfers and cheques for companies, subject to sufficient time for cashing before the date of your session.

For administrations, we also accept purchase orders.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for any questions regarding a specific payment method.

Yes, it's possible depending on your situation, but never by simple phone call and never by arriving directly on site at the time of the slot.

For individuals: Online booking is the fastest and easiest way. If you do not wish or cannot pay online, you can come to our reception in advance to book and pay on site (cash, holiday vouchers or physical Up Cadhoc), subject to availability.

For professionals and administrations: We accept bank transfers, cheques and purchase orders. Contact us by email or phone to arrange booking and payment terms. Sufficient time will be required for cashing before the date of your session.

⚠️ Important: It is not possible to book by simple phone call. It is also impossible to arrive at the time of a slot to ask to book and play directly. Any booking must be made in advance and confirmed by us.

In all cases, no booking is final without our validation and without prior payment (or written agreement for professionals).

Yes! Gift vouchers are available for purchase directly on our website. You choose the amount (30€, 100€ or customised by group size), and the voucher is sent by email to the recipient or to you. It is valid for 1 year and can be used for all our missions.

No, don't worry! For safety reasons, an emergency stop button is located in each game and allows you to open the exit door quickly at any time.

In addition, you are filmed at all times in each of Rashomon Escape's rooms. This measure guarantees your safety, allows us to ensure proper use of the equipment and helps us to guide you if necessary. Your Game Master can open the door remotely with a single click if needed. You are safe and never really a prisoner!

No specific equipment is required. We simply recommend wearing comfortable, non-staining clothing. We advise against wearing high heels, bulky jewellery or any other clothing that could hinder your movements.

For confidentiality reasons and to preserve the mystery, no electronic device allowing video and/or photo capture is allowed during the game.

However, we will offer you a photo inside the game as a souvenir at the end of the mission to immortalise your victory (or your defeat!) with your teammates.

Due to lighting effects, atmospheres or specific sound effects, we ask you to consult us in the following cases:

Pregnancy (especially for horror themes)

Claustrophobia (we can advise you on the most suitable room)

Epilepsy or photosensitivity (some rooms use strobe lights)

Heart problems (especially for horror rooms)

We formally discourage the horror rooms: L'ASCENSEUR - LA MORGUE - LE VIRUS for under-16s, people with heart conditions and pregnant women.

Reminder: it is always possible to leave the room if needed!

Reduced mobility: Currently, none of our missions are fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, as our games include minor physical challenges (bending down, squeezing through, manipulating objects).

Visual/Hearing impairment: Our games are not adapted for visually or hearing impaired people (visual and audio clues required).

Sobriety: You must be in full control of yourself. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will be refused access to the room, without refund.

Some of our missions include visual and lighting effects (strobe lights, pulsed lights) that may not be suitable for players with epilepsy or photosensitivity.

If this is the case, contact us before your booking: we can advise you on the most suitable room or disable certain specific effects.

Yes, this is mandatory for groups of children aged 15 and under. The adult is considered a full player and is counted in the room's capacity (example: 5 children + 1 adult = 6 players).

The adult must remain in the room with the children throughout the game. This is not simply supervision, but active participation in the game.

For groups of more than 6 people, several rooms can be booked simultaneously, with the possibility of friendly competition between teams. Check our events page or contact us directly.

We cannot accommodate more than 6 players in a single room. However, we can book several rooms simultaneously:

7 to 12 players: 2 rooms simultaneously

13 to 18 players: 3 rooms simultaneously

And so on, up to 50 people

Each team plays the same mission or a different mission, and you can set up a friendly competition between groups. Contact us to arrange this.
