Rashomon Escape, an Escape Game in the heart of Paris

Located at 26 rue Breguet 75011 Paris and at 2 Passage du chemin vert 75011 Paris, a few steps from Bastille, on nearly 600 m2 with 7 missions and a room for your events. Come and enjoy an unforgettable experience in varied and realistic settings. You'll have 60 minutes to solve puzzles and complete your mission. We are open every day of the week, including Sundays, every day of the year except January 1st, May 1st, and December 25th. And yes, even during holidays and other public holidays, we are open to welcome our players!


An ideal group activity for fun with a mix of logic, thinking and cooperation. A leisure activity for adults, but also for young people, in complete safety, at RASHOMON ESCAPE we accept children from 9 years old in 3 of our missions.

Rashomon Escape is located in Paris's 11th arrondissement, near Bastille! Far from the crowds of the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre Museum, playing with us guarantees you'll enjoy the atmosphere of a quiet neighborhood with a multitude of restaurants, cafes, bubble tea shops, as well as parks, gardens, and playgrounds—everything you need for a perfect relaxing break after an epic adventure with the kids! Easily accessible from metro lines 1 (Bastille), 5 (Breguet-Sabin), 8 (Chemin Vert), and 9 (St. Ambroise), all roads lead to Rashomon Escape!

What is an escape game and why is it called a “live escape game”?

Escape games are a real-life escape game that can be played in teams of 2 to 6 players. They are very popular worldwide and have been established in France since 2013, initially in Paris, and then throughout the rest of the country, to the delight of many players.


Inspired by "escape room" video games where the player must escape from a room by exploring it and collecting clues to solve puzzles, escape games combine the best of these puzzle games by offering a room with decor based around a single theme (or as one might say Escape Game Paris “immersed in a setting, a universe”), all in a live escape.

To spice up this escape game session, your team, made up of 2 to 6 players, will have one hour to find a way out of the room and solve all the puzzles! To succeed in your mission, time is of the essence and will therefore be a key element of your game session…

Escape games are primarily designed as games for adults. However, the only skills required of players are reading, writing, arithmetic, and, of course, the ability to use logic for 60 minutes! This also makes them a family activity accessible to many types of players, young and old!


At RASHOMON ESCAPE, we welcome children as young as 9 to play in 3 of our escape games (The Museum, The Heist, and The Pharaoh). This makes it a great activity for a birthday party with friends for younger children. By choosing the game yourself, you can ensure that the theme appeals to the whole group and that everyone has a great time!


No need to worry about the safety of the little ones, each game is equipped with cameras and microphones that film without recording you, so your game master (the host of your session) will always have an eye on you.

Finally, due to the low physical effort required by the game, we also welcome seniors, provided they can walk without difficulty for an hour (please note, the Elevator is a fairly intense horror room and is not recommended for people with heart conditions).
